within the Höft & Wessel Group

Products include stationary ticket vending machines, ticket printers for bus and tram as well as kiosk solutions, infoscreens and mobile ticket vending devices supplemented by backoffice solutions and customer specific software developments.

Almex is an international brand that stands for reliable ticket systems used for public transport. It all began in 1946 when AB Almex was founded in Sweden. Since then, the Almex ticket printers have been proven themselves worldwide and thus founded the base for the steady growth in this field. For the Höft & Wessel AG, ticketing has been a main pillar for many years as well. In 1994, the mobile terminal, the ticketing system used in the trains of the Deutsche Bahn, made the innovative thinking of the company known worldwide.

Developments as well as customer specific projects are managed by the Almex business unit of the Höft & Wessel AG in Hanover.

Our products are brought to market via the Almex business unit at our subsidiary, the Metric Group, in Great Britain, which has been part of the Höft & Wessel Group for many years now. The Metric Group coordinates the worldwide distributor network.
