Minimum footprint but maximum quality – the almex.midi can compete on equal terms with its big brother, the almex.station. Its small dimensions mean that it is not only spacesaving but is also extremely economical in the SOLAR setup.
Measuring just 680 mm in width and 400 mm in depth, the fixed automatic ticketing machine with its small footprint is the right choice for situations where space is in short supply. Despite its small dimensions, this unit provides all the functions required for passenger-operated ticket sales: the machine accepts all common means of payment, has a graphics-capable printer and is suitable for E-Ticketing. In its SOLAR version the almex.midi can supply itself with all the power it requires. This is achieved by attaching a solar panel to the machine. This version is of particular interest in situations where provision of the technical infrastructure would be uneconomical. Energy costs are not the only saving; there is no longer any need to install a power cable, and the associated connection costs no longer apply, resulting in further potential savings.
The almex.midi is equipped for the future of E-Ticketing. This automatic ticketing machine can work with any current standard: VDV-KA, ITSO and Calypso as well as the Almex card scheme ACS. The unit also offers the option of upgrading with an E-Ticket reader, an E-Ticket printer and a 2D barcode reader.
