This is where made‑to-measure systems are developed for transport, retail and logistics and solutions are created that are individually tailored to customers’ requirements.

Accordingly, research and development makes a key contribution to the success of the group of companies. Some 170 engineers and IT specialists, making up more than a third of the entire workforce, are engaged in this field in Hanover and Swindon. The group invests roughly ten per cent of its sales revenues in research and development each year.

Developers cooperate closely with direct distribution in order to know the requirements of the market. Participation in customer talks facilitate speedy and targeted solution-finding strategies. This is something which customer appreciate.
