Höft & Wessel develops, manufactures
and distributes hard- and software and provides complete system solutions
in three business segments:
Skeye with mobile data capture for retail
and field service, Almex with products
for ticketing & transport and Metric
with parking products. Since its foundation Höft & Wessel
has realised many projects specifically tailored to the customers
needs.

It all starts with
mobile data acquisition. More than 25,000 of the first PDE
device, the HW 9016, were sold. And they are still in use. Based on
this first invention, Höft Wessel developed a large product range
for the trade, logistics, telematics, and internet market. These products
are used to acquire, temporarily store and process data. Using such
a mobile data acquisition device, trade organisations can easily speed
up, secure and simplify processes in the field of order management,
goods logistics, inventory, goods income, and flow control of goods.
The components are tailored to the individual fields of application
and the customer's needs. Data is transmitted via fixed line network
or different radio technologies.

DECT/FHSS/WLAN Modules |
|
| |
Höft and Wessel has been a pioneer
in providing fundamental technologies for wireless data transmission
like WirelessLAN-, DECT, FHSS and GSM. When developing such products
system integration is a main priority. Thus, all modules are interface-compatible.
