The wireless USB adaptor HW 8617 is the ideal solution when it comes connecting USB computers to a DataUnwired network.
The HW 8617 is intended for indoor usage and is easily wall-mounted. Power is supplied through the USB interface or an external AC/DC adapter (not included in the delivery). The device has two built-in antennas for optimum indoor radio coverage. An external antenna can be connected.
Drivers are available for Windows 2000, Windows ME and Windows XP. These Drivers provide virtual COM ports which are compatible to applications originally designed to access conventional COM ports. The Universal Serial Bus interface allows to operate up to 127 devices.
